Uncoated cards with a natural paper feel

Uncoated stock suits simple contact cards, appointment reminders and designs that leave space for a handwritten note. The 400gsm card has no laminated film. Leave a light, unprinted writing area and test your chosen pen if writing on the cards is important.

Ink sits differently on uncoated paper, so colours can look more muted than on a coated stock. For a smoother coated surface, see our silk business cards. Neither option includes lamination.

Choose the details that matter

Choose a landscape or portrait layout, one or both printed sides, and a quantity from 250 to 10,000. The displayed quantity is the total number of cards, all with the same design. For several team members, add separate basket lines or ask us to price the whole set.

Artwork and colour

Use the matching PDF or InDesign template beside the options above. The finished size is 85 × 55mm for landscape cards or 55 × 85mm for portrait cards. Extend backgrounds 3mm beyond each edge and keep text at least 3mm inside the cut.

Send one CMYK PDF page for single-sided cards, or two pages with the front first for double-sided cards. Embed or outline fonts, use sharp images and remove the template guides. We check the artwork before production. If your design was made for a screen, try our print colour checker first. It is a preview, not a printed colour proof; tell us if matching a brand colour is critical.

Production and delivery

The available production times are shown with your price. The one-working-day option is available for up to 2,500 cards; larger quantities have two-, three- or five-working-day options. Production starts after artwork approval, and courier transit is additional. Standard delivery to one UK mainland address is included. Ask us to check other destinations or a fixed event deadline before ordering.

The price includes printed, trimmed cards with square corners. Lamination, rounded corners, foil, spot UV, spot-colour printing and design work are not included. For a protected finish, see our matt-laminated or soft-touch business cards.
