A folded menu with room for the whole selection

Give starters, mains, drinks and desserts their own space. Choose a menu that opens like a book, or a narrow DL format that opens out into three or four panels. Each is printed on both sides, with the same artwork on every menu in your order.

Which format suits your menu?

• A5 or A4 half fold: opens like a book, with a front cover, two inside panels and a back cover. Choose A5 for a smaller menu or A4 when you have more to include.
• DL with six printed faces: three narrow panels on each side, with a C-fold. The panels fold inwards, making a compact takeaway, drinks or café menu.
• DL with eight printed faces: four panels on each side. Choose a roll fold, which folds inwards, or a concertina fold, which opens in a zigzag. Both give you more space while keeping a narrow folded format.

The folded size depends on the format and fold. Your selection shows the dimensions and the matching artwork guide. Six-face DL Z-fold menus need a checked quote while we confirm their artwork dimensions.

Choose the paper and finish

• Silk: 130gsm or 170gsm paper, or 350gsm card.
• Uncoated: 120gsm or 170gsm paper, or 350gsm card, without lamination.
• Recycled: 120gsm or 170gsm paper, or 350gsm card.

Lamination is available on 350gsm silk and recycled card only. Choose matt, gloss or soft touch, on one side or both. For one-sided lamination, we will confirm which printed face is laminated before production. Lamination does not make these menus waterproof.

Use the guide beside your options

Supply one two-page PDF: outside first, then inside. Four, six or eight printed faces still need only two flat PDF pages. Download the guide for your chosen format and fold, and follow its panel order. DL roll folds have unequal panel widths so that the folded sections fit inside each other.

• A5 half fold: 297 × 210mm flat, with the fold at 148.5mm. The closed menu measures 148.5 × 210mm.
• A4 half fold: 420 × 297mm flat, folding to 210 × 297mm.
• DL six-face C-fold: 295 × 210mm flat, with 97mm, 99mm and 99mm panels on the outside. The closed menu measures 99 × 210mm.
• DL eight-face roll fold: 396 × 210mm flat, folding to 100 × 210mm.
• DL eight-face concertina: 396 × 210mm flat, with four equal 99mm panels. The closed menu measures 99 × 210mm.

Keep every panel upright. Extend backgrounds 3mm past the trim on every edge and keep important text away from the trim and folds. Embed fonts, use CMYK colours and aim for 300dpi images at the printed size. Remove all guide text and lines before exporting.

Production and delivery

Choose two, three or five working days for production after artwork approval, then allow time for delivery. These are production times, not guaranteed arrival dates. Remote postcodes, islands, split deliveries and timed deliveries need a checked quote.
