About this product

One poster or a short run

Print an A2 event poster, photograph, shop notice or indoor display at 420 × 594mm. Order from one copy, with listed quantities up to 1,000 copies of the same design. Your artwork can be portrait or landscape. These are loose paper posters, not rigid signs or framed prints.

Choose your paper and finish

  • 170gsm silk: a smooth paper with a slight sheen, suitable for everyday posters.
  • 250gsm silk: a heavier sheet when you want a firmer poster.
  • 200gsm photo satin: a satin surface for photographs and image-led designs.

Leave the poster unlaminated or add matt, gloss or dry-wipe lamination to the printed side. Matt gives a less shiny surface; gloss adds shine. Dry-wipe lamination is for use with suitable erasable pens. Test your pen first. Lamination does not make a paper poster weatherproof, and no outdoor lifespan is guaranteed.

Which A2 option should I choose?

Use this page for single copies, quantities below 25, photo satin paper or a laminated finish. For packs of 25 or more without lamination, our A2 digital posters offer more paper choices and printing on one or both sides. The two ranges have different production methods and prices, so compare the exact specification you need.

Artwork and templates

Supply one print-ready CMYK PDF page at 420 × 594mm in portrait, or 594 × 420mm in landscape, with 3mm bleed on every edge. Embed fonts, check images at the finished size and keep important content clear of the edges. The PDF and InDesign templates beside the options cover both orientations. Remove all guide artwork before exporting. One design is included per basket line; ask us about mixed designs.

Production and delivery

The available production times change with the paper, finish and quantity you choose. Production starts after artwork approval and is separate from courier delivery. The price includes your chosen paper and finish, full-colour printing on one side, artwork checks and standard delivery to one UK mainland address. Frames, fixings, adhesive backing, installation and design work are not included.

  • Use high-resolution artwork at the correct scale and keep critical copy clear of fixings or stands.
  • Add 3mm bleed and keep important content at least 5mm inside the cut line.
  • Supply a print-ready PDF with clear, high-resolution images.

Can Aspect Printing check my file before production?

Yes. Upload your print-ready PDF after ordering and we will check the file before it goes to print. If it needs repair, we will contact you before production.

How quickly can this be printed and delivered?

Timing depends on the product, quantity and when the artwork is approved. Where online ordering is available, we show the delivery estimate before checkout.

Can I request a custom option?

Yes. If the size, material, finish or quantity is not listed, request a quote and we will advise on the best option.

Is VAT included?

VAT depends on the product and options you choose. We will show it clearly before you place an order or approve a quote.
