Letting agency marketing with print
Print still has a practical place in lettings. Applicants take property details away from viewings, landlords keep valuation packs, and window displays need to be readable from the street. The useful question is not whether to print, but which item helps at each point in the customer journey.
Start with the audience and action
A landlord brochure needs different information from a property handout. Decide who will read the piece and what they should do next. Put the phone number, web address or booking route where it can be found quickly.
Keep claims specific. Explain the service area, opening hours, fees or management approach rather than filling space with general statements about quality.
Property sheets and window material
Use a repeatable template so staff can replace photographs, price and property details without rebuilding the layout. Check that the address, availability and contact details match the online listing. If a QR code links to the property page, test it from a printed proof before producing the full run.
For windows, consider viewing distance and lighting. Large type and a clear price are more useful than a crowded list of features. Choose a material suited to the display system and how often sheets will be changed.
Landlord packs and brochures
A short brochure can explain the valuation process, management options and local coverage. Use headings that mirror the questions landlords ask. Include a named contact where possible and keep figures or terms easy to update.
For longer packs, use dividers or a contents page. A heavier cover can protect the document, while lighter inner pages keep mailing weight down.
Business cards and appointment material
Cards should carry the details a customer needs after a viewing or valuation. Avoid squeezing every service onto the card. A clear name, role, direct number and web address are normally enough. Appointment cards should use an unlaminated area if staff or customers need to write on them.
Control the brand across branches
Keep a simple print specification for colour, logo position, typefaces and paper. This makes repeat orders easier and reduces variation between offices. If a branch needs local contact details, use one approved template rather than creating a separate design from scratch.
Order quantities around real use
Property details change quickly, so small digital runs can reduce waste. Evergreen landlord brochures and stationery can be ordered in larger quantities when the content is stable. Review stock before placing a repeat order and remove old addresses, staff details or regulatory wording.
